Position Overview
Investment Banking (IB) Operations is dedicated to supporting our business in their goal to build long-term, sustainable relationships with the Bank’s key institutional clients, while delivering strong returns to stakeholders. Following the buying and selling of financial products and services by the bank, we ensure that each transaction is captured accurately and in a timely manner to ensure effective risk management, cleared, documented and confirmed, settled and reconciled, all within a tightly controlled environment in adherence with global regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for working with operation teams both Manila & onshore locations, auditors, project teams and stakeholders. The core responsibilities of the role are:
- Lead project planning, define scope, and develop comprehensive plans with stakeholders
- Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary
- Communicate project status, changes, and reports effectively to all stakeholders.
- Bridge business and technical teams, leveraging basic development understanding to ensure project feasibility and quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance control measures, process improvements through delivery of low‑code/no‑code solutions, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s Degree of Finance or Business related course
Proven experience in project management, preferably within finance within a global investment or commercial bank, financial institution or financial services industry
Ability to assess complex processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend control or process improvements and high level of accuracy in reviewing documentation, control testing and issue resolution
Experienced with working with diverse teams, departments and stakeholders
Good knowledge or familiarity on low‑code/no‑code tools (ie. Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, Tableau) is recommended
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues/data simply and clearly
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
