Senior Solutions Architect at AXA Partners in Shannon, Ireland, driving cloud and DevOps strategies to modernise applications.
Lead architecture design, build Cloud-native solutions, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable products.
What you’ll be doing:
Define and produce architectural diagrams and detailed design documents for supported domains Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business strategies Design and validate cloud-native, scalable, and resilient solutions Build proof of concepts as part of the design process Deliver measurable, quality solutions to functional & non-functional requirements. Add value in all stages of project/support work (definition, development, deployment) Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to implement innovative architectures and support governance standards Identify process improvements and support continuous learning of technological trends Support the delivery of high-quality, measurable solutions throughout project cycles.
What you’ll bring:
8+ years experience in IT, with comprehensive knowledge of application design, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and modern data technologies Proven expertise in designing cloud-native, scalable, resilient, and agile applications Strong understanding of security, compliance, and enterprise architecture principles Hands‑on experience with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), REST APIs, and DevOps practices Detailed knowledge of Continuous integration / Continuous deployment / DevOps methodologies Experience with Data Centre migration, re‑location or consolidation projects Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a dynamic environment Experience in financial, insurance, or healthcare industries is a plus Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies is advantageous.
