Your key responsibilities
Strategic Business & AI Opportunity Identification:
- Process Analysis & Problem Framing: Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand current processes, identify pain points, and pinpoint AI opportunities.
AI Value Proposition:
- Lead the assessment of potential AI impact and articulate clear value propositions for proposed AI solutions.
Requirements Leadership & Documentation:
- Elicitation & Analysis: Lead the elicitation, comprehensive analysis, and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements for complex AI solutions.
- Traceability Management: Ensure robust traceability of requirements throughout the AI project lifecycle using tools like Jira and Confluence.
AI Solution Design & Prototyping:
- Technical Concept Translation: Work with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to translate business requirements into precise technical concepts.
- UI/UX Contribution: Provide input on UI/UX aspects for AI applications, ensuring user-centric design.
Stakeholder Engagement & Management:
- Liaison & Facilitation: Act as primary liaison and facilitator between business units and technical teams.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage differing viewpoints and drive consensus among stakeholders.
Data Analysis & AI Suitability:
- Data Readiness Assessment: Assess data quality and readiness for AI applications.
- Data Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams for data preparation.
Use Case Definition & Prioritisation:
- Use Case Strategy: Define AI use cases, assess business impact, and prioritise initiatives based on value and feasibility.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Validation:
- UAT Leadership: Facilitate, manage, and support UAT for AI solutions to ensure requirements are met.
Performance Monitoring & Optimisation:
- Success Metrics Definition: Define key metrics for AI solution success, monitor performance, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance & Ethical AI:
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure AI solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
- Bias & Risk Mitigation: Lead efforts to mitigate bias, risks, and fairness concerns.
Change Management & Adoption:
- Adoption Strategy: Support and lead change management activities to facilitate adoption of AI tools and processes.
Market Research & Innovation Trends:
- Emerging Technology Monitoring: Stay informed about emerging AI technologies and industry best practices.
- Strategic Insights: Identify new opportunities and provide insights for future AI initiatives.
Your skills and experience
Educational Foundation:
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Professional Expertise:
- Extensive Business Analysis Experience: Proven experience (8+ years) as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role, leading technology projects within AI/ML domains.
- Core Business Analysis Competencies: Leadership in business process modeling, advanced requirements gathering, and documentation.
Communication & Presentation Leadership:
- Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
AI/ML Familiarity & Application:
- Foundational Understanding: Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts, including LLM, NLP, and their business applications.
Data Understanding & Quality:
- Data Analysis & Suitability: Familiarity with data analysis, data quality, and pattern identification.
Stakeholder Management & Influence:
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage, influence, and manage diverse stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Tools & Methodologies Proficiency:
- Business Analysis Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio.
- Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI.
- SQL: Basic understanding.
- Agile Expertise: Extensive experience with Agile methodologies.
Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred):
- Financial Services Domain: In-depth experience in Private Banking.
