The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our software meets the highest standards. You will define and execute manual and automated tests on our application with a focus on delivering robust solutions to meet business needs.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Report and track defects providing detailed documentation and analysis.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
- Ensure SDLC policies in regards of testing are fulfilled.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your skills and experience
- Strong Trade Finance Domain knowledge
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools
- Ability to write clear and concise test documentation
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Should be good at problem solving, prioritization and debugging with excellent analytical skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD Cucumber, Gatling etc.
- Hands‑on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins), and build tools (e.g. Gradle).
- Experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber
- Knowledge of database management and SQL for data validation.
- Good knowledge with UNIX commands
- Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner
- Work alongside various project stakeholders to ensure that specific streams of work are progressing, provide guidance by example and act as an escalation point for the QA & Testing Senior Analysts
- Capability to collate metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn & adapt new technologies like GCP
