Role Description
Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DB’s Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank.
GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.
Engineer will be responsible for working in partnership with Service Owners and SMEs on identifying requirements and documenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
They will also work with the networking team to ensure accuracy of all documents including deployment guidelines, KOPs, process flows etc.

Your key responsibilities
Work in partnership with Service Owners and SMEs to understand requirements and document them
Learn our tools, processes and standards to maintain accuracy and consistency of documentation
Create process documentation in line with DB/Deployment standards, both written as well as image based
Determine the most logical and clearest way to present complex processes that help in reader’s comprehension
Review and revise existing content and documentation in forms of Key Operating Procedures, Design Guidelines etc., after consultation with the Service Owners and SMEs
Can translate complex technical ideas into text and workflows
Your skills and experience
Up to 4 years of experience in technical writing
Must have exposure and awareness of various network technologies such as CISCO, F5, Arista, Juniper, Checkpoint, Fortinet etc.
Excellent English written skills
Stay well organized and remain flexible to manage the time and workload
Must have a passion for technology and language with strong ability to solve problems
Ability to work and collaborate at a regional as well as global level
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate and resolve problems and issues, excellent attention to details
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts
Have curious and engineering mindset
Good planning, organizational
Go to have – Experience or background in networking or programming is a plus
Exposure to JIRA/Confluence
Experience using visual tools such as Visio
Knowledge of Agile development methodology is a plus
BA/BS in Communication, English, Computer Science, Journalism, or related degree
The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends due to business requirements
